"Absolute 5-star luxury! Exceeded our expectations on every level to the point where I really can't think of anything that I would change or fault. Attention to detail with top quality linens, absolutely every appliance, amenity, an accessory that you could hope for and even some luxurious welcome gifts for each guest. We had three couples stay for our holiday and the house was perfect for us. We booked massages and facials at the spa which were fantastic and Kerry was the most obliging and friendly host. Communication was excellent and nothing was a problem. If you're after luxury or a relaxing getaway, then this is the perfect option!”

“Beautiful, luxury accommodation in a wonderful part of the country. All amenities are new and modern. Everything you need and more! We especially loved the access to the veggie garden, the outdoor baths watching the sunset each night, and the brazier under the stars and the wide-open space around the property our kids could just play and explore. Kerry is such a warm and accomodating host, and bonus - you can get yourself a luxurious spa treatment right next door!”

“We stayed at Pukehina Retreat & Lodge over New Years and what a place! The whole experience was outstanding. Kerry and her husband could not have been more attentive. With early check in, Kerry greeted us and showed us the property that exceeded our expectations. The outdoor area was amazing for entertaining - the facilities were second to none! We loved the touches that Kerry had added - gifts for the guests staying, fresh produce she had picked from the garden and a lovely bottle of wine that we enjoyed!
A group of us also had treatments at the onsite spa - total relaxation. The property is only a short walk to the beach but you will struggle to leave this sanctuary! Kerry was there if we needed anything and even dropped us some snapper her husband had caught that day! We cannot wait to return - we are already scoping out dates for the next visit! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

“Such an amazingly well designed and modern space with all the facilities you need to stay for a short while or a longer time. The outdoor area faces northwest for the perfect sun all day finished off with picturesque sunsets from across the estuary. The baths that look directly out to toward the above mentioned views are simply fantastic. I really look forward to returning here for a longer stay with the fam one day!

“Kerry, the house, the locations and it’s surrounds were 5 Star! We absolutely LOVED our stay here and Kerry made it all the better with her spa treatments and personal cosmetics left out to enjoy (Make sure you book one in if staying)! We stayed here with our family over our wedding and it was perfect all round. Will definitely be back!

5*from the start to the finish! We held an intimate wedding at Pukehina Retreat and Lodge and it exceeded our expectations! The grounds overlooking the estuary were perfect for a wedding venue. Kerry was wonderful meeting us at the location to show us around and provide homegrown produce, as well as some fresh fish that Kerry’s husband had caught.
Every one of our wedding guests commented on how perfect the venue was and such a bonus to be able to stay there as well. I will be returning next year for our wedding anniversary.

“Amazing stay, We booked through a fb promotion which included two night accommodation a dinner and high tea. The food and was lovely and plenty off it. The bottle of Tiraki Wine was a nice touch with dinner. Great surrounds with stunning views and very comfortable beds

“We just loved staying in this beautiful house, lots of space, inside and outside! Very tastefully decorated in black/white tones, very clean and cosy. We enjoyed the bath tubs outside as well, such a nice way to enjoy the beautiful environments while enjoying a glass of wine! Kerry is very fast in her responses to my messages and no effort is too much for her. If ever back in this area we will definitely book this accommodation again. Highly recommended!!

“I just want to say we absolutely loved our stay. From the beautiful views, the amenities are endless. The skin care, the body products, the wine, the beautiful outdoor baths and fire pit, the location, and the amazing hosts. The one thing that really stood out to me was all the little things like the games, the linen and the comfortable beds. We felt so at home and can’t thank you enough for having us.

“Tranquil, stunning, 5-star accommodation. It’s places like this that are a true gem, one that you absolutely appreciate that you have the opportunity to indulge in tranquil surroundings, luxury, and where it just speaks the highest care on all dimensions. Kerry is an amazing host, very obliging, and caring, and ensures every detail of your stay is perfect! From fresh cut flowers to a range of exclusive body and skin care products, in addition to an already bespoke property. I loved the pool, loved the host, loved the property would definitely re-book!!

“Kerry was an amazing host for an amazing house. She greeted us personally (with snacks!!). Also brought us fresh fish to cook later in the evening. The house was first class, with a gorgeous patio/backyard, including a pool and bathtubs!! Kerry also runs a salon at the house which we may have missed in the description but it was not a bother and was separate. It was our first stay in Pukehina and we really enjoyed it.

What a wonderful place. A true little slice of paradise for the whole family! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we got greeted with a warm welcome & had the most friendliest host who went above and beyond for us. There isn’t a single thing we could complain about. The baths, amazing! The view, unreal! The pool, the rooms, the decor, everything was perfection! I had a facial at the clinic on the property and it was lush. A truly wonderful weekend we had here :) Get packing, you don’t want to miss out on this one!
